Loving button down blouses right now

Trending Now: Button-Down Blouses
Another trend that’s been going on throughout all the seasons are button-down blouses. There’s something about them that gives off a sense of sophistication and elegance. Not only that, but depending on the material (chiffon, for instance), it can be extremely soft and feminine. There are so many different types of button-down blouses, so here are 5 blouses that I really love:

1) Romwe’s Soft Pink Design Chiffon Shirt
This is such a soft, feminine shirt. It drapes beautifully, and because of it’s sheerness, it creates a beautiful silhouette. I’d wear this tucked in with a pair of high-waisted, light-washed cut-offs. Lovely.

2) Nordstrom’s Rachel Roy Blouse
To tell you the truth, this blouse doesn’t look that great on the model. But actually, it is quite adorable. It has a really pretty ruffle cascading down the front, and it has a pretty, pleated back. This would look stunning with a fitting, pencil skirt, or a high-waisted pair of mustard-colored shorts.

3) J. Crew’s Silk Lucinda Blouse
J. Crew’s blouses are always of such beautiful, vivid colors. I love this mustard color, because it look amazing with navy, another color that I adore. It’s loosely-fitted and very relaxed. I’d pair this with a pair of boyfriend jeans, or a pair of J. Crew’s pale-pink, cafe capris.

4) MINIPINK’s Stop and Stare Blouse
This blouse has a retro look to it, with all of the bold, black polka dots. It’s very versatile, since it’s black and white; you can pair it with just about any color shorts, skirts, or shoes! I’d wear it tucked in to a pair of faded and worn-out gray shorts.

5) Gap’s Sleeveless Pocket TopThis adorable sleeveless blouse is super comfy and looks expensive, though it’s because it’s made of 100% rayon. Rayon is a super lightweight, flowy fabric that makes anything look delicate and expensive. I love the tie on the front that you can either wear untied, or tied into a bow.

Shoes, Shirt, and Bag Thailand Haul

Some of the stuff I bought in Thailand for cheap :)

Shoes varied from 125 baht (blue shoes) to 500 baht (nude heels). 1 dollar= 30 baht. You do the math. Black heels bought in the Philippines for 750 pesos= 17 dollars

These shirts were about 3 for 200 baht which is about $6.50.

The bags were 200 baht each

Just came back from Greenbelt Makati, Philippines! I seriously am in love with the place! I didn’t get to shop but my inner shopaholic is begging me to go back and buy a bag or shoes at TopShop then enjoy some gelatto. Hmmm… better hold myself back and save some moolah since I’ll be studying for 5 more years! T.T
P.S. I’m going to get refunded because my nude Korean wedges did not come in :( I guess I could look for new shoes!

Just got home from the mall and bought a gift for my cousin! Her baby shower is on Saturday (I’m probably going to eat a lot of yummy-not-so-healthy food there). Anyways I also bought a new outfit for the occasion!
And for fun I took a picture of my outfit to the mall.lol
