Week 15

Monday: 2 hrs. tennis+30 min. walk

And the rest is history.  I haven’t worked out in a while.  Every day I don’t, I feel sluggish by midday.  Basically, I spent most of my week help my bf move to his new house (I probably spent more time there than he did).  I wonder how it’ll be when I start working… hopefully I can squeeze a yoga session in twice a week.

So many rest days this week but I’m getting increasingly busy so I don’t have as much time.  Hopefully I am able to cope with this change of pace.  My friend and I are going to do hot yoga this week! I can’t wait!  Also I had my car fixed, I’m so happy but my credit card was obviously abused. Oh wells, what can you do… safety is importante! :)

Still taking it easy.  Haven’t eaten out at all this week since I’m saving (might go out and eat today! >< excited!)haha Anyways, still training my body to run outside.  It’s much harder than running on a track or treadmill definitely.  Getting used to it so that I’ll be ready for the Linda Yalem 5k this September!  Hmm… I ran it Sept. 2007 (I just looked it up online) and found that I was going 10:04 pace and finished in 31:18min.lol I thought I did better than that, although I did walk some parts because I was not conditioned… that and I was waiting for my friend but she got injured and didn’t finish. :(  Anyways goal is to beat this time and be under 30 min.!

Sunday: ~3-4 hrs. of 5 treetop obstacles

(climbing nets, crossing plank bridges and ropes, zip lines, etc.)

Very crazy week since I finally came back home to New York.  I ate out lots of times with friends.  So I definitely splurged some days but it’s once in a while and worth it! Did so many things I haven’t done in a while like tennis.  I actually miss tennis! Anyways Sunday was the highlight of my week.  I planned this adventurous date with my bf (for his bday gift since I wasn’t here :[) even though I’m scared of heights.  Surprisingly I got through it with minimum amount of fear.  I got used to it, being in a harness definitely helps!  Anyways my bf loved it and so did I, only downside is the long wait since there were so many people!  Oh yeah there was a point it started raining hard and I was crossing this long plank bridge with no rails over a creek, I felt like I was in the Amazon rain forest.  Scary yet awesome at the same time! You guys should try it if you have the chance! Worth every penny :)

So I’m thinking my weight is inching down slowly but then again what do I expect I don’t workout as often anymore.  I’m hoping to change that in a week since I’ll be back in my home 2 days from now and that’s when it’ll get serious! Plus treetop adventures this upcoming week (psyched and scared) and maybe going to start bikram yoga?!?  Eating healthy was mostly handled this past week but there were times I was just constantly hungry and would eat every 2 hours. >.> Oh and I ate pretty badly one of the nights in San Francisco.  Fried food (fried seafood of all sorts and donuts) and my stomach don’t go well together anymore.  Felt super sick afterwards so I’m definitely staying away from that stuff again!  Otherwise trip went awesomely and love the fambam.  I miss being with them… to bad I have to leave again.

This was more focused on eating healthy.  Since I was jet lagged my days would start at 6am and end at 10pm.   My dinner also would end at 6pm and after that I would just be inclined to eat a light snack.  Anyways I’ve been trying healthy cooking and it’s really fun.  Some recipes need a little tweaking just to add a little bit more flavor but it’s great!  Awesome dessert recipes as well.  Last night I was home alone so I baked chocolate chip oatmeal cookies to pass the time until my boyfriend called to keep me company. (It’s really scary being home at night b yourself and I get really paranoid!)  Anyways the cookies were quite tasty.  I’ll share the recipe sometime :)

So I basically took this week off since my brother and mom came back from the province and it was my last week in the Philippines.  So I enjoyed my time going out, watching movies, and eating.  Friday was my flight… and most horrible seat in the plane ever (tail end- basically the last row- in the middle of two guys, one who took most of my space)  Anyways now I’m back in Cali, jet lagged and experiencing dizzy spells.  I did finally weigh myself- 118.3 lbs :)  So I feel sort of accomplished!

Monday: Ab Ripper X+Chest&Back

Tuesday: Plyometrics

Wednesday: Shoulders, Triceps,& Biceps+Ab Ripper X

Thursday: Yoga X

Friday: Core Cardio&Balance

Saturday: Ab Ripper X+Legs&Back

Sunday: rest day

I’ve been dragging my feet about working out since last week so I’m going to take a much needed break from P90x next week.  Plan for next week is to mix it up and maybe take a few rest days!  Also, eating-wise, I had loads of cravings and fell trap to tired/bored eating sprees a couple of times.  It probably didn’t help that I didn’t get much sleep for 2-3 days. :(  Anyways still working it. Keep it up peeps! :D

Week 7

Monday: Ab Ripper X+Chest&Back

Tuesday: Plyometrics

Wednesday: Ab Ripper X+Shoulders&Arms

Thursday: Yoga

Friday: Ab Ripper X+Legs&Back

Saturday: Core Cardio&Balance

Sunday: Rest day

So this week I’ve been eating healthier… basically eating more fruits, veggies, and nuts.  Sticking to about 1300-1500 calories a day… I’m not sure if it’s working yet but what can I expect after a week right!?! I’m too hard on myself.

Anyways other than that, my workout motivation was really low.  I really had to push myself some days but I manage to get them done and I’m glad!  I really thank tumblr for all the inspiration to push through!  I do think that I’m getting tired of P90x workouts, after so many times doing it, I don’t feel the excitement anymore! However, I will push myself one more week and mix it up after (during the rest week phase).  I hope everyone is pushing themselves as well… as Shaun T says, YOU CAN DO IT! :)

Week 6

Tuesday: 1.5 h ice skating+Plyometrics

Wednesday: Shoulder&Arms+Ab Ripper X

Thursday: Yoga X

Friday: Legs&Back

Saturday: Ab Ripper X+Kenpo X

Sunday: rest day+grocery shopping

-this week I’ve realized that my body has changed but to completely transform it I would need to make healthier choices on food.  I haven’t been serious about eating totally healthy before and I always focused on exercising so now I’m going to challenge myself on a healthier diet.  Slowly but surely, first off, a healthy food 30 day challenge.
